MilesKuperus LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our mobile application GoLyngo (the "App").
Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the application.
2. Collection of Your Information
We have designed the App to minimize data collection. We do not collect personal names, emails, addresses, or phone numbers unless you voluntarily contact us for support.
A. Personal Data
We do not collect PII (Personally Identifiable Information) directly within the App. All content you create or input into the App is stored locally on your device.
B. Financial Data
We do not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to Apple Inc., whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
3. Use of Third-Party Service Providers (RevenueCat)
The only data tracking or metrics we utilize are strictly for the purpose of managing subscriptions and validating purchases. We use a third-party service called RevenueCat to handle this infrastructure.
- What RevenueCat Collects: To validate your subscription, RevenueCat may collect and process an anonymous App User ID and data related to your specific purchase history (e.g., subscription start date, expiration date, and renewal status).
- Purpose: This data is used solely to determine if you have access to premium content (the "Paywall") and to debug purchase-related issues.
- No Behavioral Tracking: We do not use RevenueCat or any other tool to track your behavior inside the App (e.g., which buttons you click, how long you use the App, or your specific location).
4. Local Storage (Data Sovereignty)
GoLyngo operates on a "Local-First" basis.
- Your Content: Any data generated by your use of the App (such as language progress, notes, or saved items) is stored locally on your iOS device.
- No Cloud Sync: We do not maintain a central database of your user content. We cannot access, view, or share your personal app data because it never leaves your device.
- Data Loss: Because your data is stored locally, if you delete the App or lose your device without a backup, your data may be irretrievable. We are unable to restore lost data.
5. Disclosure of Your Information
We do not sell, trade, rental, or otherwise share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose information only in the following situations:
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share specific purchase-validation data with RevenueCat as described in Section 3.
6. Security of Your Information
While we take reasonable steps to secure the limited information we process (subscription status), remember that the security of the data stored locally on your device depends on your own device security settings (e.g., your passcode or FaceID).
7. Policy for Children
We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
8. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features
Most mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. Because we do not track your online activities, the App does not respond to DNT browser signals or mechanisms.
